Q: Hey Mr. Barker, what is it that you do exactly?
A: Please, Christian is fine. I am a multidisciplinary designer. The focus of my work is branding and experience.

Q: Experience? You mean like UI/UX, app design?
A: Sure, I can do that. But there are many other experiences in branding and human interaction to be designed.

Q: That sounds like a stretch for someone who studied graphic design in college. Can you back that up?
A: You can read my résumé and decide that. I thought the point of this was to allow people to get to know the real me.

Q: You’re right. So tell us, who is the real you?
A: I’m just a guy who loves to make stuff that solves problems.

Q: You mean like websites, logos, and print designs?
A: Sure, and in my free time I enjoy making stuff with my hands too. Like made-to-measure neckties and eyewear.

Q: What's been your favorite project to work on?
A: I’ve been designing for over 18 years. I’ve had a lot of fun projects, and I can’t really say which was my favorite. But, my favorite kinds of projects are the ones that involve working on a diverse team.

Q: So to sum you up, you are a creative guy who likes to make stuff and solve problems with other people?
A: Yep.
